Picking Apples

Travel + Leisure recently voted St. Olaf College the 25th most beautiful college on their America's Most Beautiful Colleges list.  And if you've visited us this fall, you can see why.  It is a gorgeous place, tucked away in the quiet but quaint little town of Northfield. The more time I spend here, the more I find something I love about it. The other day, Mike and I checked another item off our "Northfield bucket list" and we visited the Fireside Orchard. It is one of the students' favorite activities in the fall and I'd have to agree. We bought an empty bag and wandered through the orchard picking the apples we wanted.  It was a perfect fall day and such a great activity. I think we may have found a new yearly tradition.

What a cute reminder to enjoy the moment. We've had a lot of reasons to enjoy moments recently and I hope for more to come.

Our FALL BUCKET LIST:
-make chili (check)

  1. Apple Picking is always #1 on our list of fall things to do! So much so, we got married in an orchard! This year, we had the pleasure to take Beau to the orchard we were married in, we picked tons of apples and I even made a pie today! Glad you enjoyed it as much (if not more) than we do! xoxo
