September has come and gone, leaving behind warmer temperatures and the vivid green trees. We lit 57 candles to be blown out in honor of another year of milestones and accomplishments. We celebrated birthdays - including a first, a golden and another.
Hadley was first up on the 7th, celebrating a lot of her firsts - birthday, sounds, teeth, big girl meals, steps, and even bike rides. (One of my previous posts has all the pictures from her adorable rainbow themed party if you want to see her individual party.)
Ty and Mikey turned 28 this year, making it another year for Mike and a Golden Birthday for Ty! We celebrated Mike's birthday on the 15th with a little surprise gathering honoring some of his favorite people and things. Of course the theme was golf but we made sure we got some of his other favorite things in there, too - of course IBC rootbeer, party potatoes, snicker salad and everything chocolate. His grandparents and parents joined us as well as one of his aunts, friends from college, a friend from work and some friends from St. Olaf. We had a great time celebrating how wonderful he is.
Ty loves Italian food so we celebrated family style at Bucca's for her birthday dinner. Unfortunately we were missing a big piece of our family - our brother Billy Boy. He was studying hard at Gustavus! Good boy, Billy.
